全日本の前哨戦として行われた日本CSCロードレース。国際レースのツールド熊野と被っていたこともあり選手層もそこまで濃くないことから結果を求めて走ろうと話し合ってスタート地点へ。国内で一番厳しいサーキットではあるが横矢、神村は登りに強い。若月も春のチャレンジロードでは最終局面まで残れていたのでチームとしてはこの3名を軸に、他はサポートへ回りつつ展開を考えた。しかし予想とはすべて違った方向へレース展開は進んだ。優勝候補であるマトリックスの小林選手がスタート直後からフルガスで先頭で展開。2周目までに先頭は15名程に絞られてしまう。この超ハイペースに横矢が食らいついていく。既に集団は粉々で2周目には先頭集団、メイン集団で35名程しか残っていない。横矢が粘りを見せるものの先頭集団からはドロップしてしまいメイン集団へ。その他は小集団で周回。先頭集団は数を減らしながらもハイペースを刻み続けコース上には20名程しか残らず。横矢も残り4周を残してＤＮＦとなってしまった。弱虫ペダル内田選手とＥＦディベロップメントチーム門田選手の一騎打ちになり最後は内田選手が優勝で幕を閉じた。
監督談マトリックス小林選手の一本引きで30分経たずに10名に絞られてしまった。エリートの全日本で優勝を狙う選手の牽引は凄まじく我々に対応できるものはいなかった。各自レベルアップを図らないと厳しいコースでは手も足も出ずゲームさえさせてもらえない。何度も言うが決してレベルの低いリーグではない。ここで結果を残したいのであれば各自が普段の生活から見直し、より高みを目指すしかない。私自身も衝撃を受け修正が必要だと強く感じた。
横矢・神村談
横矢最初のペースにはついていけたが3周ほどでドロップしてしまった。そこからはメイン集団で展開できたが徐々にきつくなってしまい遅れてしまった。熱中症気味であったのでレースまでの過ごし方、補給を工夫してこれからのレースに生かしたい。
神村ベルギーから帰ってきてから全てが上手くいっていない。このループから抜け出したい。一度思い切って休んで身体をリフレッシュさせたいが全日本はすぐそこ。コンディショニングに失敗するとシーズンを棒に振ってしまうかもしれないので慎重に考えたい。最初のペースもそこまで速いとは感じず脚もまだまだあり対応できるのだが呼吸器系の調子がとても悪い。原因を突き止めて今後のレースに臨みます。

The Japan CSC Road Race was held as a prelude to All Japan. Since it was the same as the international race Tour de Kumano, the number of players was not that deep, so we talked about running for results and went to the starting point.Although it is the toughest circuit in Japan, Yokoya and Kamimura are strong in climbing. Wakatsuki was also able to make it to the final phase of the Spring Challenge Road, so as a team, we thought about how to develop the team, with these three people as the core, and the others going around to support.However, the race progressed in a completely different direction than expected. Matrix player Kobayashi, who is a candidate for victory, developed at the top with full gas right after the start. By the second lap, the lead was narrowed down to about 15 people.Yokoya catches up to this super high pace. The group has already been shattered, and only about 35 people remain in the leading group and the main group on the second lap.Although Yokoya showed tenacity, he dropped out of the leading group and moved to the main group. Others go around in small groups.Although the number of the leading group decreased, they continued to set a high pace and only about 20 people remained on the course. Yokoya also got DNF with 4 laps left.It was a one-on-one battle between Yowamushi Pedal Uchida and EF Development Team Kadota, and in the end Uchida won the championship.
director storyMatrix Kobayashi's single draw narrowed it down to 10 people in less than 30 minutes. There was no one who could deal with the elite all-Japan players who were aiming for the championship.If we don't try to raise our level, we won't even be able to play a game on a tough course. I say it many times, but it's never a low level league.If you want to leave results here, each person has no choice but to review their daily lives and aim higher. I myself was shocked and felt strongly that it needed to be corrected.
Yokoya and Kamimura talkYokoyaI was able to keep up with the initial pace, but dropped after about three laps. From there, I was able to expand with the main group, but it gradually became tighter and I was delayed.I had a bit of a heat stroke, so I want to devise ways to spend my time leading up to the race and how to replenish my supplies for future races.
KamimuraSince returning from Belgium, everything has gone wrong. I want to break out of this loop. I want to take a break and refresh my body, but All Japan is just around the corner.If I fail in conditioning, I may lose the season, so I want to think carefully.I didn't feel that the pace at the beginning was that fast, and I still have legs and can handle it, but my respiratory system is very bad. We will find out the cause and face the next race.
