昨シーズン全選手がリタイアした苦い記憶のレース。今回は3名と最少人数での出走となった。学業との兼ね合いもあるのでそこは両立を目指して結果を求めたい。
コースはテクニカルで後ろはゴムのように伸び縮みしてインターバルが永遠と続くコース。逃げに乗り先待ちをしたいところ。レース開始から1列棒状が続き3周目。テクニカル部分をクリアし下りへ。この時点で集団中ほどから後ろは粉々になっている。体調の優れないエリックが遅れ、同じタイミングで渡邉が痛恨のパンク。水野も最後尾から集団に追いつくも登りで本格的なペースアップがありドロップ。前が緩むことを信じて追走を続けるがThe end.1.5時間でレースから全員が降ろされてしまう。ペースアップ後逃げ集団が出来たこともあり集団はスローダウンし淡々と、まではいかないが距離を消化していく。その後雨でサバイバルレースと化し、集団は25名程まで絞られ、優勝はブリヂストン岡本選手。（日本大学に在学中の選手。）
～監督談～
厳しい結果が続いている。正直遠くまで遠征してこの結果は厳しいものがある。ＪＰＲＯＴＯＵＲのレースは決してレベルの低いものではない。世界の第一線を知る選手もいる中、中途半端では戦えない。犠牲を多く払い努力し始めて結果に結びつく。そしてそれが一人ではなくチーム全体に必要だと感じた。次戦までの2週間でアップデートして臨む。

This race had a bitter memory from last season, where all the riders retired. This time, only three riders participated, aiming for a result while balancing their studies. The course was technical, with stretches that stretched and contracted like rubber and constant intervals. It was a course where they wanted to get in a breakaway and wait for the others. From the start of the race, the peloton remained in a single-file, pole-like formation until the third lap. They cleared the technical section and headed downhill, with those at the back already falling apart. Eric, who was not feeling well, fell behind, and at the same time, Watanabe suffered a devastating puncture. Mizuno caught up to the peloton from the back, but couldn't keep up with the pace on the climb and dropped out. Mizuno continued to chase, hoping that the front would slow down, but it was the end for all of them, as they were all pulled out of the race in just one and a half hours. After the pace increased, a breakaway group was formed, and the peloton slowed down and continued to cover the distance. The race turned into a survival race in the rain, with the peloton dwindling to about 25 riders, and the victory going to Bridgestone Okamoto, a rider from Japan University.
~ From the Coach ~
The results have been tough, and honestly, it's challenging to travel far and end up with these results. The J-PRO TOUR is not a low-level race. There are also riders who are world-class, and we cannot compete with a half-hearted effort. We need to pay a high price and work hard to achieve results. I also felt that this was necessary not only for one person but for the entire team. We will update and approach the next race in two weeks.
